  23. You weren't listening very carefully (I doubt you listened at all).  He
  24. favors legalization of =some= drugs, primarily marijuana, as do most
  25. physicians.

  27. You have also mischaracterized his position on abortion.  As I understand
  28. it, he feels that limiting "abortion on demand" to the first trimester gives
  29. the Right to Lifers the benefit of the doubt, since the absence of any
  30. evidence of sentience does not (and cannot) absolutely prove that it could
  31. not exist.

  53. Of course Cal Thomas says worthwhile things sometimes (actually, quite
  54. frequently).  Even Rush Limbaugh comes up with the occasional good idea (an
  55. increasingly rare event).

  57. I don't view the world in the polarized way that you and Rush do.  Everybody
  58. knows something worth learning (some more than others, of course).  Until
  59. you realize that, and stop categorizing people as "liberals" and
  60. "conservatives" (and adding the "whacko" to those you don't favor), you will
  61. never grow beyond your self imposed tunnel vision.
