- Why, there's only one possible choice, and the photo on which the artwork
- must be based already exists! It's the famous photo, recently discussed in
- this group, of Dan in danger of blowing off his own elbow with a missile
- launcher (or grenade launcher or whatever the bloody thing was) because he's
- holding it backward. And, just as the original V-shaped wall of the Vietnam
- memorial in Washington was eventually supplemented by a statue of three
- soldiers, the Dan statue too must be supplemented by figures of the two South
- American officials looking on in amusement. Finally, over one of the
- officials there must be a bronze thought balloon bearing the words "What a
- dope!", preferably in both Spanish and English.
