  40. Actually, It is widely accepted that the national media tends to lean toward
  41. the left, and local media tends to lean toward the right (on the average).
  42.  
  43. Since most americans get their news (local & national & international) from the
  44. local channels, it stands to reason that the majority of what americans hear is
  45. slightly biased to the right.
  46.  
  47. I would not consider either local or national media to be very far to the left or
  48. the right on the average.  There are special exceptions.
