- creating a mainstream newsgroup. If a vote on soc.culture.bengali
- fails, you can certainly create an alt.* group then. If you create
- the alt group first and then create a soc group later, the alt group

- That doesn't follow. It would follow that a group under a "language"
- hierarchy would be more appropriate than "culture." Post an RFD for
- soc.language.bengali or sci.lang.bengali (since a sci.lang hierarchy
- already exists) and see what the response is.
