  16. The standard theory on talk.origins is that Carl Sagan ran over Ted's
  17. dog many years ago, and poor Ted has never gotten over the shock....

  19. THe actual reason is that Sagan has debunked Velikovsky (most scientists
  20. just ignore his work completely) and Ted can't handle any criticism of his
  21. chosen god.
