  12. Hey, It must have been at least a year ago that I caught a snippet
  13. on a local eye-witless news program about some strange flickering
  14. lights in a California, Arizona, or New Mexico desert.  They had
  15. some actual video footage of the the phenomenon and, to the best
  16. of my recollection, it looked like explosive flashes happening just
  17. over the horizon.  The tape was shot at some road-side location
  18. at night and included a bunch of other cars and people as well as
  19. the surrounding terrain.  Does anybody else - John Winston not 
  20. included 8^) - else rememeber hearing about this and, if so, what 
  21. the resulting explanation was? Just curious.
