- NOT!!! Let's say the coffee is at 70 C and the coffee + milk is at 50 C.
- The coffee alone will initially cool more rapdily, but in time it will
- reach 50 C and therefore cool at the same rate as the milk and coffee
- combined. Not adding the milk bought you that extra increment of time
- it took to reach 50 C. Also, while you were away, your milk, which was
- at 10 C has warmed to room temperature, that is 23 C, so now when you
- add it to your coffee it cools it less than it would have if you'd
- added it right out of the fridge.
