- It is _not_ the case that articles in French (or English for that matter)
- can follow their nouns. Perhaps you are thinking of Rumanian, the only
- Romance language where this is the case, I believe. So far as I know, no
- Germanic languages have postposed articles. You have evidently been
- misinformed about French.
