  12. It is _not_ the case that articles in French (or English for that matter)
  13. can follow their nouns.  Perhaps you are thinking of Rumanian, the only
  14. Romance language where this is the case, I believe.  So far as I know, no
  15. Germanic languages have postposed articles.  You have evidently been
  16. misinformed about French.
