  12. I cannot supply a reference, but I too read that there is concern about 
  13. acid formation when Teflon engine additives are subjected to high temps.  I
  14. believe that DuPont is not a big fan of this use of their material (PTFE)
  15. and has prevented the Slick 50 folks from using the trade name Teflon.
