- Next Monday I'd like to use my tuner - a Denon TU-260L - to record a programme
- from Medium Wave (on 693 or 909 Khz, which have a wavelength of 330 and 433
- metres) as well as I can onto my DAT recorder.
-
- Unfortunately, the little loop antennae supplied with my tuner picks up a lot
- of whistles and whines, and leaves a lot to be desired. Can anyone suggest a
- way of improvising a decent medium wave antennae? In particular, would
- looping a very long length of thin enamelled copper wire around my room many
- times have any effect?
-
- (A bit of stepping back into the past here! ..)
