- parents will go to great lengths to 'fix' their children if they
- are born with some type of defect. At the end of the program (the

- make that 'choice' whether to live in an 'hearing' world or Deaf
- Culture. Even if the child chooses to live with her disability,
- she will still have the device implanted and there's no telling if
- this could cause some type abnormality if left intacted.
