- DC>Does anyone out there know anything about the outdoor storage of
- sulpher
- DC>and any fire hazards that can become of it. There is a natural gas
- DC>scrubbing plant that takes the sulphur out of the natural gas and
- just
- DC>dumps it out on the ground. They want to shut it down and just put
- it all
- DC>into outdoor storage blocks. It is right near a forest and the fire
- chief
- DC>wants to know if there are any regulations about doing this. He got a
- book
- DC>to check it out and he said that it didn't answer any of the
- questions that
- DC>he had. If you have any info please write to me and tell it.

- Don't have anyinformation but would think that your local
- environmental protection (or management) agency people would be more
- than happy to come unglued all over this outfit. They would also be
- most likely to know if anything is amiss. You might also want to
- contact the state utility regulators. If they can't help you, they
- might be able to point you in the right direction.
