- We (the Cypress Creek Volunteer Fire Department of Northwest Harris County,
- Houston, Texas) use different classes of uniforms.
-
- Classs A - White shortsleeve shirt, black slacks, black shoes, badge,
- ID, TSFFMA patch, departmental patch, certification
- pathes, cap is optional (but usually not worn)
-
- Class B - Blue T-shirt (navy blue) with departmental emblem, blue
- jeans, athletic or work shoes, cap (optional)
- OR
- Navy blue golf or polo shirt (with collar and 2-3 bottons),
- with departmental ensignia, blue jeans, athletic or work
- shoes, cap (optional)
-
- Class C - Navy blue jumpsuit with short sleeves, TSFFMA patch,
- department patch, certification patches, badge (removed
- before responding to a call), ID (removed before
- responding to a call), HCFFA patch (optional), cap
- (optional)
-
- Now, remember that this is a FD, so any removable items, like ID's, badges, or
- caps, will be removed before a fire call. Now we do have EMT's who will
- respond with either class A or class C uniforms with ID and badge on. It seems
- that only the hicks (I am sometimes one of them =) wear caps in this dept.
