  14.                           Sorry if we wake you
  15.                        In the middle of the night
  16.                     But someone in your neighborhood
  17.                        Is fighting for their life.
  18.
  19.                        Sorry if we block the road
  20.                         And make you turn around,
  21.                       But there's been a bad wreck
  22.                    With children dying on the ground.
  23.
  24.                          When you see us coming
  25.                          We hope you understand,
  26.                       Let us have the right of way
  27.                       Someone needs a helping hand.
  28.
  29.                        Sometimes a child is choking
  30.                           Sometimes a broken leg,
  31.                       Sometimes a heart stops beating
  32.                   And when we get there - its too late.
  33.
  34.                         So if you see us crying
  35.                      When we think we're all alone,
  36.                         You know we had a "bad one"
  37.                      And we're feeling mighty down.
  38.
  39.                          You ask us why we do it
  40.                      "How can you watch a child die?"
  41.                           It's never very easy
  42.                       But we'll try to tell you why.
  43.
  44.                        We don't do it for the money
  45.                         You know we don't get paid,
  46.                        We don't do it for the glory
  47.                    But for the life that might be saved.
  48.
  49.                           Somewhere deep within us
  50.                           Our souls are crying out
  51.                        We're here to help our neighbors
  52.                         In their hour of pain and doubt.
  53.
  54.                          God gave us something special
  55.                           To help us see you through,
  56.                           We do it cause we love you
  57.                           And care about you, too!
  58.
  59. Just something that I thought was rather insightful.   I hope you enjoy it!

  67. I think that this pretty well summarizes what we have been talking about!
