- You're running 'uugetty -c' on the *inittab* file? Aren't you supposed
- to run it on the gettydefs file?

- The inittab entry you show (above) looks a lot like the one uuinstall
- will create for you. The space between the -t option and the 60 is
- perfectly fine.

- About the only thing that puzzles me is the -r option. This appears to
- be a modem port (uppercase H in the port name). Why do you need the -r
- option on a modem port? Won't your modem keep the carrier signal (DCD)
- off until someone calls in?

- There is a quirk to 3.2.2's uugetty, though. The speed codes in the
- gettydefs entry can't be EXTA (for 19200 bps) or EXTB (for 38400 bps).
- They must read B19200 or B38400. Check your 'p' entry in gettydefs
- and change the speed codes (there are two) if they're EXTA or EXTB.
