  10. could someone please give this unix illiterate some general 
  11. information on unix.  is it as hard to use as i am led to 
  12. believe?  if so what makes it so hard?  i know that there
  13. are *many* different unixes out there--what are the most
  14. commonly used ones?  finally, i have read about svr4.2
  15. which is supposed to be an easier to use unix, is it out
  16. yet?  if not what is the expected release date?
