  25. At 690K/sec *peak* I'm not sure you could even keep the tape
  26. drive streaming.  Would you want to hook up a tape drive
  27. given that it will have to reposition on each block transfer?
  28. This might be why Trantor doesn't try to support a tape
  29. device--no customer would be happy with it.
