- At 690K/sec *peak* I'm not sure you could even keep the tape
- drive streaming. Would you want to hook up a tape drive
- given that it will have to reposition on each block transfer?
- This might be why Trantor doesn't try to support a tape
- device--no customer would be happy with it.
