- I need a quick S0 rule to do the following:
- rewrite user@host to user@local if the "host" has an A or MX record
- in a "domain".
-
- The problem I am trying to solve is one of several poorly written
- mail enabled programs which send mail to user@host. Since I have
- several hundred hosts, I don't want to make any entries in the
- sendmail.cf file when adding new hosts. Also, I don't want each
- host running sendmail in daemon mode. All of the mail for the
- domain is processed by one mailhost. This is probably a simple
- thing, but it has been 3 years since I've forgotten most of my
- sendmail rule writing lessons.
-
- Please respond by mail since I don't read this group very often.
- Feel free to toss a FAQ at me if there is one.
