  14. Problem: spurious problem with email lists

  17. We have a series of email lists on SGI platforms, and 5.61 seems to
  18. have this curious notion that the delivery child should die every once
  19. and awhile, and then sendmail tries to resend all over again.
  20.  
  21. The final result is that numerous people on these lists receive the
  22. email multiple times. So far, there has been absolutely no pattern
  23. whatsoever -- near as I can tell. It has also happened with a single
  24. user recipient, but far more rarely.

  26. A cohort of mine is evaling 5.67 to solve all of this, but for the
  27. interim we are stuck. Does _anyone_ else have this problem, or better
  28. yet, seen a solution?

  30. Unacceptable answers: 1) move the lists to a Sun 2) disban all lists
  31. :))))
