  18. Yes, certainly, although the number of CPU cycles it will take 
  19. depends on how compliant you want to be with the spec.  It would be 
  20. a lot easier, for example, to do software that only does LAPM as a 
  21. call originator (leaving out non-error-control and MNP operation) 
  22. than it would be to do a fully-compliant answerer application (with 
  23. detection phase, feature negotiation, MNP, LAPM, and V.14 
  24. non-error-control fallback operation).

  29. You can probably get them through the DBP FTZ in Darmstadt, or 
  30. through the ITU bookstore in Geneva.  I don't know if the ITU's 
  31. Teledoc document server yet has the full text of these standards or 
  32. the ability to order and pay for them online.
