- Yes, certainly, although the number of CPU cycles it will take
- depends on how compliant you want to be with the spec. It would be
- a lot easier, for example, to do software that only does LAPM as a
- call originator (leaving out non-error-control and MNP operation)
- than it would be to do a fully-compliant answerer application (with
- detection phase, feature negotiation, MNP, LAPM, and V.14
- non-error-control fallback operation).

- You can probably get them through the DBP FTZ in Darmstadt, or
- through the ITU bookstore in Geneva. I don't know if the ITU's
- Teledoc document server yet has the full text of these standards or
- the ability to order and pay for them online.
