- Well, after a ROM upgrade. My Digiscout+ works quite fine. I found only
- the following effects:
- When entering local mode from a working connection (you know the usual +++)
- and entering AT*O (to see the line quality) and then ATO to get back
- to the connection, ATO yields ERROR the first time. Entering another ATO
- gives the desired result.
- I had problems to connect to a Twincom BEFORE the ROM update.
- My current ROM version (ATI1) is 2A09/2930.
- BTW, is someone faxing using a Digiscout+ under UNIX ? The problem
- is that netfax is not working, because netfax requires Class 2 commands and
- the Scout+ supports only Class 1.
- But to summarize, the Scout+ is a very good modem.
