- A quick call to Telebit this morning produced the information that the FAX
- upgrade for the WorldBlazer _will_ be available shortly, and a mailing on
- it
- will occur sometime next week.
-
- There will be a "window", from around December 1 to December 20, where the
- upgrade
- can be gotten for a reduced price ($99?, I think); after that it will go up
- to
- the final price, around $149.
-
- No mention of whether there's a "window" for a free upgrade for those who
- purchase WorldBlazers between now and then, but I didn't ask.
-
- The customer service person said she'd gotten quite a few calls on this
- subject, so perhaps Telebit won't make the mistake of separating T3000's
- and
- WorldBlazers again during an upgrade program.
