  20. Used car dealerships have the sterling reputation that they do for a
  21. reason... :0

  23. My advice is never buy a used car without having it checked out first
  24. by a mechanic (NOT the mechanic at the dealership).  Many will give
  25. it a 5 min look-over for free, and a thorough checkout for  < $50.
  26. They invariably come up with a list of things that need fixing, which you
  27. can use to negotiate the sale price down.  If the dealer won't let
  28. you take it off the lot to have it  checked, look somewhere else.

  30. At least Toyota on Western fixed the cracked windshield, that in itself
  31. is pretty surprising for a car thats already been sold.
