- You must run QUICK SETUP from the Main Menu and select an appropriate
- monitor type, prior to installing the AutoCAD Display Driver.
-
- IMPORTANT: This driver is intended for use with AutoCAD Release 10, 11
- and 12, Protected mode only.

- 1.0 Installation Notes for AutoCAD 386
-
- 1) Make sure AutoCAD has already been installed on your hard drive.
-
- 2) To complete the install successfully, you will require the following
- information:
-
- a) The full path name of the AutoCAD directory.
- b) The ATI batch file is called ADIACAD.BAT.
-
- 3) From the Install Enhanced Drivers menu select AutoCAD.
-
- 4) When INSTALL has completed copying all necessary files, exit the
- program.

- 5) Change directory to AutoCAD base directory and run ADIACAD.BAT.
-
- Note: For AutoCAD release 10 and 11 (Protected Mode) see instructions #7.

- 6) For AutoCAD R12, follow these steps:

- a) In the AutoCAD directory, run ACAD with the option -R to
- configure the video display.
- b) Select the appropriate graphics card from the list.
- c) Select the desired resolution and color depth.

- 7) For AutoCAD R10 and R11, follow these steps:
-
- a) In the AutoCAD directory, run ACAD to configure the driver.
- b) Enter the Configuration menu.
- c) Select Configure Video Display.
- d) select "ADI P386 v4.0/4.1 ...".
- e) Select the desired resolution and color depth.

- the driver.
