  4. READ THIS FILE COMPLETELY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO USE THIS PRODUCT !
  5.  
  6. You must run QUICK SETUP from the Main Menu and select an appropriate
  7. monitor type, prior to installing the AutoShade Display Driver.
  8.  
  9. IMPORTANT: This driver is intended for use with AutoShade when used
  10.            in conjunction with Renderman.
  11.

  14. 1.0     Installation Notes for AutoShade
  15.  
  16. 1) Make sure AutoShade has already been installed on your hard drive.
  17.  
  18. 2) To complete the install successfully, you will require the following
  19.    information:
  20.  
  21.     a) The full path name of the AutoShade directory.
  22.     b) The ATI batch file is called ADISHADE.BAT.
  23.  
  24. 3) From the Install Enhanced Drivers menu select AutoShade.
  25.  
  26. 4) When INSTALL has completed copying all necessary files, exit the 
  27.    program.  
  28.  
  29. 5) Change directory to AutoShade base directory and run ADISHADE.BAT.
  30.   
  31. 6) Run SHADE -R in your AutoShade directory and configure the driver:        
  32.  
  33.     a) Select "PADI 386...", for the Display Driver. 
  34.     b) Select the appropriate graphics card from the list of graphics boards.
  35.     c) Configure the video mode.            
  36.     d) Select "PADI 386...", for the Rendering Driver.
  37.     e) Select the appropriate graphics card from the list of graphics boards.
  38.     f) Configure the video mode.
