  1. License Agreement

  4. The software which accompanies this license (the "Software") is the property of the 
  5. SWE Sven Ritter Company or its licensers and is protected by copyright law and 
  6. international agreements. While SWE Sven Ritter continues to own the Software, you 
  7. will have certain limited rights to use the Software after your acceptance of this 
  8. license. Except as may be modified by a license addendum which accompanies this license, 
  9. your rights and obligations with respect to the use of this Software as follows:

  12. You may:
  13.  
  14. (a)    use one copy of the Software on a single PC;
  15.  
  16. (b)    make one copy of the Software for archival purposes, or copy the software 
  17.     onto the hard disk of your computer and retain the original for archival 
  18.     purposes;
  19.  
  20. (c)    install the software on a network file server, as long as each PC that has 
  21.     access to the Software has a license for use of the Software;
  22.  
  23. (d)    give the Software permanently to third parties only with written notification 
  24.     to SWE Sven Ritter. All copies of the software and documentation must be 
  25.     transferred to the new owner, and the new owner must agree to abide by the 
  26.     terms and conditions of this license;
  27.  
  28. (e)    use the software on any PC that you use 80% of the time, as well as on a 
  29.     laptop or a home PC that you work with;
  30.  
  31.  
  32. You may NOT:
  33.  
  34. (a)    distribute the Software by any means, charge any amount for distributing the 
  35.     Software, or distribute the Software as part of or in a bundle or package with 
  36.     any other product;
  37.  
  38. (b)    sublicense, rent or lease any portion of the Software;
  39.  
  40. (c)    reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, translate, make any attempt 
  41.     to discover the source code of the Software, or create derivative works from 
  42.     the Software;
  43.  
  44. (d)    continue using previous versions after receiving a replacement CD, an upgrade, 
  45.     or update. Old versions must be destroyed and may not be used;

  48. Limited guarantee:

  50. The Software is delivered as is, without any form of guarantee. We want to inform 
  51. you that it is impossible to create software completely bug free for all systems.
  52. During the development of the Software we took great care and will continue to ensure
  53. that any problems or mistakes in the Software will be rectified. 
  54.  
  55. We can not guarantee that the Software will fulfill your special needs or will run
  56. without problems with your application. We will guarantee that the media used to
  57. distribute the Software will have no material defects if used properly. This 
  58. guarantee is in effect 6 months after the delivery of the Software. Any other 
  59. conditions are excluded by this guarantee.
