  6. PROBLEM:       With current revisions of the 3.01 NET3 shell, if a fake
  7.                root is created and then a DIR SYS: (or whatever the volume
  8.                name is) is executed, a directory listing at the volume
  9.                level is shown and the fake root structure of the network
  10.                drive is lost.

  12.                For example:

  14.                MAP ROOT G:=SYS:THIS/THAT  (The root directory is at
  15.                subdirectory THAT)
  16.  
  17.                DIR SYS:    (The contents of SYS: is listed.)
  18.  
  19.                MAP G:      (SYS: is returned.  The fake root is gone. )
  20.  
  21. SOLUTION:      There is no work-around at the present time.  However, it
  22.                has been reported to Engineering.
