  6. INFORMATION:  We obtained the following information from Mary at SCS Tech

  9.                   To Set the NE1000 card to function with DMA,
  10.                   DMA 1:  jumpers 1 & 3 in the DMA Section
  11.                   DMA 3:  jumpers 2 & 4 in the DMA section
  12.  
  13.               Refer to the NE1000 Installation Supplement to locate the DMA
  14.               block of jumpers; the above positions are from the left (the
  15.               IRQ jumper block).  Page A-4.  The IRQ block takes 4
  16.               positions, DMA block 4, I/O address 2 positions.

  18.               The information was requested by a customer who had bought
  19.               NE1000 cards to use in a Banyan LAN (our advice was to sell
  20.               the customer a Netware OS!).
