  5. PROBLEM:      With the latest version of tape backup software, users may
  6.               get a GPI error.  This only occurs if they are doing a
  7.               selective restore and not a full system restore.

  9. SOLUTION:     The solution is to restore at least one file to SYS volume. 
  10.               Then, if they have other volumes to restore, they can do it
  11.               without any problems.  If they only have SYS volume, then
  12.               they should experience no problems whatsoever.
