  3. FUNCTION: Recovers file directories that have been removed from a disk.

  5. FORMAT:   UD [directory-path]

  7. TYPE:     Norton Utilities command
  8.  
  9. REMARKS:  directory-path indicates the parent directory from which
  10.           sub-directories are to be recovered.
  11.           UD works interactively in order to first select the sub-directory to
  12.           be recovered from all those that have been removed from the specified
  13.           or current parent directory, and then to select groups of file names
  14.           to be restored to the sub-directory table. NU or QU can then be used
  15.           to recover any of the erased files that have been restored to the
  16.           sub-directory table with a ? as the first character in the file name.
