Select the source files to encode.
Select which AVI file to convert to a MPEG output. This window sets information in the "Video" and "Advanced" tabs of the "MPEG Settings" window.

- Video file
- Select the AVI file to encode into MPEG. If an audio file with the same name exists, it will automatically be entered into the "audio file" field below.
Audio file
- Select the file to use as the MPEG audio track.
Video Type
- Select whether the source file video is interlaced or non-interlaced. The type is selected automatically by TMPGEnc; there is usually no need to change this setting.
These settings can be changed later in the [MPEG Settings] window's [Advanced] tab.
Field Order
- If the source is interlaced, the field order needs to specified. The field order is selected automatically by TMPGEnc; there is usually no need to change this setting.
Aspect Ratio
- Select the aspect ratio of the video file.
Content of Video
- Select the type of film content. This helps TMPGEnc function in the most efficient way.

The source consists of a video movie (29.97fps progressive/interlaced).
Select this option if your source is DV capture video.

The source consists of a film at 24fps. This can also be used for 29.97fps interlaced movies.
Select this option for film or anime.

- Go back one page.
"Next" Button
- Go to the next page.
"Cancel" Button
- Close the window and discard any changes.

- Check this box to automatically start the wizard when the program starts.
