Prepare the settings for a MPEG file easily via the project wizard.
From TMPGEnc version 2.5, a "Project Wizard" is included to aid in setting projects. The wizard automatically set the parameters of the [MPEG Settings] window.
The wizard has five windows: [Select Format], [Select Source File], [Filter Settings], [Bitrate Setting], and [Specify Output filename].
The project wizard can be run from the [File] menu.
- "Back" Button
- Go back one page.
"Next" Button
- Go to the next page.
"Cancel" Button
- Close the window and discard any changes.
Enable this Wizard at startup
- Check this box to automatically start the wizard when the program starts.
Format Settings (page 1)
- In this page, set the MPEG stream type for the output file.

Select Source File (page 2)
- Select the source files from which to encode the output. This page sets some of the information in the [MPEG Settings] window's [Advanced] tab.

Filter Settings (page 3)
- From this page, select any filters to apply to the output file. This page sets some of the information in the [MPEG Settings] window's [Advanced] tab.

Bitrate Setting (page 4)
- Select the bitrate for the MPEG output file.

Specify output file name (page 5)
- In this page, one specifies the file name and location.
