BullGuard - Firewall - Cookies
Tip: Use the menu in this picture to navigate in the Help-file, just like when you use the real BullGuard
With BullGuard you can choose to block cookie files.
In this section you can select ôEnable cookie controlö. By doing this the following options will be activated:
- Block incoming cookies û if you select this option then all the incoming cookies will be blocked without any warning.
- Block outgoing cookies û by selecting this option you will block from execution all the outgoing cookies that might contain informations about you jeopardizing your privacy.
Note: Some sites require enabling cookies in order to display correctly. Thus if you
selected to block the cookies some pages may appear to be blank or not display
at all.
Every time BullGuard detects that a Web site requests a cookie, it verifies
to see if you permit that cookie, blocking or allowing them, or displaying a
warning message:
Click ôYesö if you want to allow sending/receiving that cookie or ôNoö otherwise. Check the option ôRemember this answerö if you want to
avoid receiving the warning message for that cookie.
Note: The warning messages will be displayed only if you havenÆt selected the
options that block incoming/outgoing cookies.
In the ôCookie listö you can see all the cookies detected by BullGuard.
Note: The object will appear in the list if in the message window you select ôRemember this answerö.
The blocked cookies appear as unselected, and those that appear as selected are accepted cookies.
Specified for each cookie in the list is a direction of the cookie, the incoming/outgoing
server, the name and the URL. If you want to delete the cookie list, click with
the mouse on the ôClear listö button. If you want to delete only one item, select it and then
click on "Delete item".
