BullGuard - Firewall - Behaviour blocker

Tip: Use the menu in this picture to navigate in the Help-file, just like when you use the real BullGuard

In this section you can block the execution of programs with a suspect behaviour. This could be programs trying to write in executable files, files with double extension, applications trying to write in the system registry, applications with Trojan or back door behaviour.

To start, select the option ôEnable Behaviour blockerö. All the options for monitoring programs is activated, and will be displayed on categories as follows:

The section also contains a list named ôBanned applicationö. This contains all the applications you accepted as having a suspicious behaviour, displaying the name of the application and the action that placed it in the suspicious category. Each time when BullGuard finds an activity with such behaviour it will display a warning message, like this:

Tip: Not all the applications that have a virus like activity are the result of a virus infection. ItÆs up to you to decide if this is a virus activity, depending on the context the message displayed and on which applications are running.

If you select to block the application, then this will be introduced in the list. If you want to delete all the applications from the list, just press the Clear list button.

In case you want to temporarily stop the monitoring of the applications, unselect the option ôEnable Behaviour blockerö.
