	Support 4 Learning - Working Abroad Here you can find a range of information about working outside the UK. There are links to sites that can provide practical advice and useful information whether you are doing a gap year or permanently relocating. Also includes a guide to useful books.
	VSO VSO is an international development charity that works through the efforts of its volunteers. They offer the opportunity to share your skills with real people in developing countries and make an important difference in peoples lives.
	Working Abroad An information service for people working for voluntary organisations abroad in over 150 different countries. You can find information about a variety of organisations, articles by volunteers and information about a range of work placements.

	The Foreign Office In order to get the most up to date information about travelling overseas, this is the place to visit. Provides country specific advice as well as factsheets and general travelling tips.

Get careers advice
	BBC Education - Job Advice Well organised and written advice about lots of different aspects of employment, from picking your first job to starting your own business. It is not a very in depth site but can point you in the right direction and provide some interesting ideas.
	Doctor Job A good graduate careers site that provides careers advice and information about most different industries and types of employment. The site is easy to use and there are some good features like an experts forum and employers directories.
	Hobsons Careers Advice Very good careers site that is aimed principally at graduates. However, much of the advice and many of the resources and links are equally applicable to anyone wanting some careers advice or looking for information about getting a job.
	Learn - Careers Advice A good directory of some very good places on the web to find careers advice. Lots of sites that are aimed at all sorts of different people, from graduates or school leavers to anyone who is thinking of changing their existing job. A good resource.
	Monster Careers Centre Monster is a well known source of employment information. It is packed with useful resources and advice about finding a new job, changing careers and other important employment issues. You can also find expert advice on specific topics.
Purchase books
	123 Pricecheck This site offers a free service to allow you to compare the prices of books, DVDs, Videos and music, including the postage charge. A hugely useful way of finding out if you are getting the best deal.
	Amazon Amazon has now become more than just a cheap online book dealer, it now sells a huge range pf products and is generally reliable and quick to deliver. One of the best shops for sheer choice but not always the best for price. Always worth a look.
	Book Brain This site provides a comparison of prices of books from a wide range of online bookshops, so you are likely to get a bargain every time you buy. If you visit any of these dealers through one of the links provided, a percentage of sales goes to charity.
Teach a language abroad
	TEFL This is a huge site dedicated to teaching English as a foreign language. It is packed with resources for both professionals and newcomers. Although the site is daunting at first, it is one of the first places you should visit if you have an interest.
	The EFL Directory A directory of over 250 institutions around the country who offer courses for those wishing to teach English as a foreign language. You can search in specific areas of the country, read about each one and find contact details and websites where possible.
