Some tough aliens have taken position in the asteroid belt! The United Cartel of Planets in Revolutions (UCPR) has decided it was enough! (Of you or the aliens, we are not really sure...) So they sent YOU to take care of the massive aliens invasion. They said the unending revolution was taking its toll on the available ships so they gave you a choice among three small but good (yeah right!) ships. Your goal is simple enough, clear the way for the super massive fleet! To this end you must destroy as many asteroids as possible and destroy all the bases that are in the way, after that you must find the position of the Alien Invasion Homebase! Each base is in a different belt (galaxy in our term) and to destroy one of these nasty little bases you must first find some outposts in the belt and destroy them to gain the required codes. These codes comes from the computer core of an alien outpost, once destroyed. SeeĆ It's a piece of cake! (You are SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD!) By the way your ship is equip with the pick up scrap metal and use it to enhance your ship capability. In short, the metal pieces helps you power up your ship. Your computer will automatically recognize any metal and pick it up if you're close enough.
Your ship is strong, it has shields and armor. It can withstand being hit by an asteroid. Physical laws are used to model this game, heavy asteroids will do more damage to you. Speed is also important, hitting an asteroid at high speed will damage you more than hitting one at low speed.
The cloak system makes you nearly invisible to UFOs and other threats. Beware, consumes a lot of shield energy, so you are much more vulnerable to attacks and collisions.
UFOs in the game behave differently one from another. Some stay out of the range of your weapons and fire missiles at you and some rush on you to make a quick kill. Some alien ships, when you come too close, will release auto-firing turrets. Remember that your ship has more speed and more maneuverability than any alien ship; try to evade the missiles, they are painful.
