Quick Introduction

Here is how you can make use of System Cleaner just in a few easy steps.

Step 1. Configuring System Cleaner Options

In the System Cleaner's Options dialog you can browse trough the various options available and specify your preferences. All changes are saved so you only need to do this once.
Most of the default settings are appropriate for the average user so you probably won't need to change anything.

Step 2. Cleaning up

Depending on your current needs, you can use System Cleaner's Disk Cleaner, Registry Cleaner or Duplicate Files Finder to discover junk and obsolete files on your computer and remove them.

Step 3. Maintaining system integrity and logic

If you wish to fix integrity problems and to find out how your system's resources are used, use Registry Defrag and Disk Space Explorer. To control the programs which are started with your Windows or to your Internet Explorer, run Startup Manager and Internet Explorer Extensions Manager. Run File Extensions Manager to the programs associated to file types in your system. Use Uninstall Manager to securely and completely remove the programs you can't uninstall with their own tools.

Step 4. Protecting your privacy

To keep your data secure and make sure your removed files will not be restored by third persons, use Privacy Protector and Shredder.

Step 5. Monitoring and undoing changes

Use the System Snapshot tool to make your system's "save point" or compare your system state to the "save point" made earlier. Use the Restore Manager to undo changes introduced by other System Cleaner's tools.
