General

The General options page carries some System Cleaner settings of general purpose.

Section Display controls data representation on System Cleaner's screens:

• Hide empty categories in Results window: hides categories with zero results to clear overview. The option applies to Disk Cleaner, Registry Cleaner and Startup Manager.
• Play animation while scanning and deleting: turns on/off animations during the specified processes. If your computer is slow, turning this option off can improve System Cleaner's performance.

Section Sound allows managing System Cleaner's sound effects:

• Play sound when search operations are completed: turns on/off the sound in the specified situations. You can choose to have the Windows standard sound or to specify an alternative sound file at your hard drive.
