Configuring virus scan tasks

The methods you use to scan objects on your computer is determined by a set of properties assigned to each task.

To begin configuring task settings,

select the task name in the Scan of the main window and use the Settings link to open the task settings window.

You can use the settings window for each task to:

select a security level with the settings that the task will use;

edit advanced settings:

specify the settings that define what file types are to be scanned for viruses;

restore default scan settings;

select an action that the program will apply when it detects an infected or suspicious object;

create a schedule to automatically run tasks.

In addition, you can configure universal settings for running all tasks.
