Designating universal scan settings for all tasks

Each scan task is executed according to its own settings. Active Virus Shield is installed with a default set of settings.

You can configure universal scan settings for all tasks. You will use a set of properties used to scan an individual object for viruses as a starting point.

Select the Scan section in the left-hand part of the main program window and click Settings.

In the settings window that opens, configure the scan settings: select the security level, configure advanced level settings, and select an action for objects.

To apply these new settings to all tasks, click the Apply button in the

Other scan tasks section. Confirm the universal settings that you have select in the pop-up dialogue box.
