Virus scan task status

To view the current status of a virus scan task, select the task name (for example,
My Computer) in the left-hand part of the main program window in the
Scan section. The status line in the right-hand part of the window will display information on the task being performed:
- Task name : running - the task is currently being performed. While the task is running, its name will be in green on the task list.
- Task name :
paused - the user has paused this task. To resume the scan, click the
button in the status field.
- Task name : stopped - the user stopped this virus scan task before it was completed. The next time you run the task, the program will ask if you would like to continue the task where it stopped or begin it over.
- Task name : completed - this virus scan task has finished successfully.
You will see the
list of objects to be scanned during a given task in the upper part of the window under the status line. You can edit this list by adding or removing objects from it.
The
Settings section displays the settings that have been applied to the current task. The
security level and
action indicated here are the actions that that the program will apply when it detects malicious objects. By left-clicking any place in the section, you can begin editing the current task settings.
The Statistics section contains composite information on the task execution, including the number of objects scanned during the last run, the number of malicious objects detected, the number of objects not processed, and the time that the task was last run. You can view detailed information on the scan results by left-clicking anywhere in that section.
