The GNU Project has spent the past 15 years developing a Unix-like operating system whose name is GNU. Periodically (2-4 times per year) we collect all the programs that form part of that system and make a compilation on CD-ROM. The GNU Source Code CD-ROM sets now contain the latest official versions of over 250 separate program packages. (See the full list here.)
All the software on the GNU Source Code CD-ROM sets is free software, and you have the right to copy, modify and redistribute all of the software.
Each GNU Source Code CD-ROM subscription is for four editions of the GNU Source Code CD-ROM set, shipped to you as soon as they are available. The price is $840 if the purchase is being made by a corporation or organization, $210 if an individual is purchasing the subscription. (We hope the special discount for individuals encourages more people to order subscriptions for themselves.) Note: if you are ordering from outside the US and Canada, please add $100 for courier shipping.
