About
Thank you for choosing NMI's Java Code Viewer (NJCV) as your tool for Java decompilation and disassembly. NJCV is the user-friendly, visual Java class decompiler and disassembler, able to reconstruct source-code from binary Java class files. Decompilation is possible because of the exceptional amount of symbolic information contained by Java's compiled classes. Besides decompilation, NJCV offers you disassembly: the process of examining the contents of a Java class. NJCV is able to generate the low-level Java bytecode which is useful for debugging, auditing and post-mortem crash and security violation analysis.
NMI's Java Code Viewer 4.8, based on the Jad command-line interface (CLI) Java decompiler,
is a high performance Windows application. It's written in Java but is independent from any Java environment. NJCV 4.8 allows you to easily select, decompile and disassemble multiple Java classes and lets you view and edit the generated source-code files within the Programmer's File Editor (Pfe32), the included, light-weight, freeware editor. NJCV has built-in functionality for processing archived Java class files.
