What should I do if my career won't start until sometime in the future?
There are three ways to enter my annual salary. Which is the best?
It's best to enter information about your paycheck by using the Paycheck wizard, and then clicking link to your paychecks. This way, as you update information about your paycheck, information in your lifetime plan is updated automatically. For more information, see Schedule your paycheck deposit.
What if I don't know exactly how much I'll make? Is it OK to estimate?
Yes, if you donÆt know exactly how much you'll earn ù for example, because you don't receive regular paychecks or because you're paid on commission ù simply estimate what you'll earn. You can always adjust the amount later.
I'm retired now. How do I enter my income?
Since Money handles post-retirement income differently than your pre-retirement salary, enter your post-retirement income as "other income." See Enter other income (not from my career).

1 In Annual Gross Salary, enter $0.
