Adding audio and video to Media Library

Before you can begin creating playlists or auto playlists, burning CDs, or copying files to portable devices, you must add links to digital media files to Media Library. You can add links to music, video, and other digital media content, including radio stations to Media Library by doing any of the following:

• Searching your computer for digital media files.
• Copying tracks from CDs.
• Adding files individually, from playlists, or folders.
• Adding files that are in folders you set the Player to monitor for additions.
• Playing files on your computer, the Internet, or removable media.
• Dragging or copying files from My Computer.
• Purchasing music on the Internet.

Adding files to Media Library by searching your computer or network is the most convenient way to initially populate your Media Library if you already have digital media content. Copying your CDs to your computer and adding content from the Web are also good ways to add content.
