Using the Quick Transition Button
You can create common transition effects by clicking the Quick Transition button.
This button allows you to apply the following transition effects without using the Effect Palette:
  Dissolve
Film Dissolve (available on some Avid editing applications)
Film Fade (available on some Avid editing applications)
  Fade to Color
  Fade from Color
  Dip to Color
You can choose to add the same transition effect to multiple transitions at the same time by marking IN and OUT points in your sequence that select all the transitions to which you want to apply the effect. When you click the Quick Transition button, the Quick Transition dialog box will contain a check box for Apply to All Transitions (IN -> OUT).
