Applying Effects to a Sequence
This section explains how to apply an effect to a sequence in the Timeline.

The effect type (transition or segment) determines where you can place the effect in the sequence. For an explanation of the effect types, see Effect Types. For information on individual effects, see 2D Effects and Xpress 3D Effects.
