Contents Previous Chapter Next Chapter 10. Window This chapter explains the [Window] menu, which deals with open document windows. Using this menu, you can get information about open windows and manage the windows. [Window - Close] <Ctrl+F4> This command closes the document window being edited currently. The [Window - Close] menu is equivalent to the [File - Close] menu and finishes only the current document without closing the WebEditor program. If the document was modified and has not yet been saved, the user is asked whether to save it or not. Otherwise, the document window is immediately closed. [Window - Close All] This command closes all the document windows currently opened in Namo WebEditor. Although all the documents are closed, WebEditor remains running. If a document was modified but not saved, the program asks whether or not to save the document. Otherwise, the document window is closed.
Use this menu to rearrange the document windows currently opened in WebEditor in the order you want. When this menu is selected, the [Arrange Windows] dialog box pops up. In the dialog box, you can change the order of each window back and forth. Furthermore, you can activate, save, or close the document in each window. Select a Window: This window shows the list of all currently open documents. In the list, if a document has been modified since it was last saved, an asterisk (*) is appended to the right of the file name. [Activate] Click the [Activate] button to immediately move to the selected document window and edit the document. The selected document becomes the current window of WebEditor and the [Arrange Windows] dialog box is closed. [Move Up] Click the [Move Up] button to raise the selected document by one step. For example, if you click the [Move Up] button in the figure above, the positions of "start.html" and "howto.htm" are exchanged.
