Checking the protection status
Information on the current status of real-time protection is displayed in the right section of the Protection tab in
the main application window of Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal.
The status of real-time protection is identified by the following icons:
- Real-Time Protection is enabled. The protection level of your computer is set to Recommended.
- Real-Time Protection is enabled. Your protection settings do not match the recommended settings.
- Real-Time Protection is disabled or not working. If the protection is disabled, we recommend that you enable it. If real-time protection is not working, we recommend that you configure the real-time protection parameters (see section Troubleshooting real-time protection) and then enable it.
