Configuring real-time protection
Real-time protection of your computer means that Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal provides constant monitoring of all potentially unsafe actions performed on your computer. This means that the program looks for viruses in files that you open or save (after you modify them), in messages you send or receive, when you run a file or when a script is executed in Microsoft Internet Explorer. When you or any program attempts to perform any of the above actions, Kaspersky Anti-Virus first blocks the action, scans the object, and then, depending on the scan results, either permits or prohibits the action or displays a message.See also:
